GATE Registration 2025 Date Rescheduled for 28 August: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) has rescheduled the registration date for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 to, August 28, 2024. Now the candidates can register for the GATE 2025 exam from 28 August 2024. As the Organising Institute (OI) for the GATE 2025 examination, IITR will oversee the entire process, from registration to results. Here’s everything you need to know about GATE 2025.

About the GATE 2025 Exam

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam Duration will be 3 hours (extra time for PwD candidates). The GATE 2025 exam will be held in more than 200 cities/towns in India.

On August 14, 2024, IIT Roorkee released a brochure regarding the GATE 2025 exam. According to the official brochure released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee which is the organizing institute of GATE 2025, the registration for GATE 2025 will start on 28 August 2024. But now the registration date has been rescheduled for 28 August 2024. The examination will be conducted on four different dates in February 2025. The exam dates for the GATE 2025 exam are February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

Please note that the candidates, who are appearing for two test papers, need to fill out only one application form.

GATE 2025 Registration Fee

The GATE 2025 registration fee for general category candidates is ₹1800. Female candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and PwD categories need to pay ₹900 for GATE 2025 registration.

Eligibility Criteria for the GATE 2025 Exam

Candidates in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program, or those who have completed a government-approved degree program in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities, are eligible.
There is no age limit to appear for GATE 2025.
Candidates currently in the 5th/6th/7th semester or higher, or those who have completed degrees such as M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.V.Sc., or B.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Forestry, are also eligible.

GATE 2025 Examination Format

GATE 2025 will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) in two sessions (forenoon and afternoon) on scheduled dates of February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. All test papers of the GATE 2025 exam will be of 3 hours duration, which will consist of 65 questions for a total of 100 marks. There will be a total of 30 test (subject) papers. All test papers will be in English language, which will be objective-type questions. The GATE 2025 exam questions will be categorized into:

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): Only one correct answer out of four options.
Multiple Select Questions (MSQ): One or more correct answers out of four options.
Numerical Answer Type (NAT): Candidates must enter the answer using a virtual keypad.

SLAT 2025 Registration Starts (Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2025)

SLAT 2025 Registration Starts: The Symbiosis International University (SIU) is going to conduct the law entrance exam i.e., Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) on 13th December and 15th December 2024.

The registration for SLAT has started from August 15, 2024 onwards. The last date to submit the registration form is 22 November 2024.

SLAT 2025 Overview

The Symbiosis International Deemed University has recently announced through its notification about the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT 2025) entrance exam date. The registration process has been started for SLAT 2025.

The SLAT 2025 entrance exam will be conducted on two different days. Test 1 will be held on December 13, 2024, and Test 2 will be held on December 15, 2024.

Both Tests will be computer-based tests and organized in online mode on the centers allocated by the Symbiosis International University (SIU).

Registration Process for SLAT 2025

Step 1- Visit the official registration link for SLAT 2025.

Step 2- Click on the “Register” option.

Step 3- Read the Terms and Conditions, accept them, and click on the continue button.

Step 4- On the next page fill in the registration information and other details.

Step 5- Submit them and click on Save & Continue.

Step 6- An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID. Enter the ‘OTP’ and submit it.

Step 7- SLAT ID and password will be shared through SMS and email. Save the ID and Password for further reference.

Step 8 – Pay the SLAT entrance test registration fee i.e., 2250 rupees per test.
