The details of the selection process for the SBI PO Recruitment 2023 consists of several stages:

Phase I: Preliminary Examination

• Preliminary Examination consists of an online Objective Test for 100 marks.
• The test has three sections (English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability) with separate timings.
  There is no sectional cutoff.
• Candidates ten times the number of vacancies in each category are shortlisted for the Main Examination based on the Preliminary Exam aggregate marks.

Phase II: Main Examination

• The Main Examination is conducted online and includes Objective Tests for 200 marks and a Descriptive Test for 50 marks.

• The Objective Test consists of four sections with separate timing for each.
• Penalty for wrong answers: 1/4th mark deducted for each incorrect answer.

Phase III: Comprises Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Interview.
