Tata Group Collabs with NVIDIA for AI Advancements in India
- Tata Group has announced the partnership with NVIDIA to bring AI Advancements technology in India.
- According to the deal, both will work to develop an artificial supercomputer based on NVIDIA’s superchip technology.
- Before Tata Group, Reliance Industries limited on 8 September had announced the partnership with US-based chipmaker NVIDIA for boosting Artificial Intelligence technology in India.
- About NVIDIA: NVIDIA is a tech company popular for the development of Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). It was established in 1993.
African Union Becomes Permanent Member of G-20
- The African Union has become a permanent member of the G-20 during the New Delhi Summit.
- After the European Union, the African Union becomes the second group of countries to attain permanent membership in the G-20.
- The G-20 Summit is being placed in New Delhi. This is the first G-20 Summit in India.
- G20 member countries before African Union: Mexico, China, United Kingdom, India, Turkey, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, United States, South Africa, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Canada, South Korea, European Union, France, Australia, Indonesia, Japan.

Powerful Earthquake Strikes Morocco: Death Toll Exceeds 2,000
- A powerful 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck central Morocco, resulting in a death toll exceeding 2,000 people.
- Marrakech, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, also experienced damage to its buildings.
Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Arrested in Corruption Case
- Former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu has been arrested in a corruption case by the Central Investigation Department (CID).
- The arrest of N. Chandrababu Naidu is related to an alleged Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) Scam during the rule of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
- Extra: YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the current chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Amaravati is the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Cartoonist Ajit Ninan Passes Away at 68 in Mysuru
- Cartoonist Ajit Ninan, known for his work of series ‘Centrestage’ in India Today and ‘Ninan’s World’ in Times of India, passed away in Mysuru on Friday at the age of 68.
- He reportedly died of a cardiac arrest in Mysuru (Karnataka) on September 8, 2023.
Chennai will Host Street Child Cricket World Cup in September 2023
- The Second Street Child Cricket World Cup 2023 from September 20 to 30 is going to be hosted in Chennai, India.
- There will be total 24 teams from different countries.
- First Street Child Cricket World Cup was hosted in London in 2019.
Global Biofuels Alliance, launched during G20 Summit in New Delhi
- The leaders of G20 launched the Global Biofuel Alliance (GBA) during the G20 Summit in New Delhi, India.
- The main goal of Global Biofuel Alliance is to encourage the use of biofuels in different countries.

- Biofuels are renewable energy sources generated from organic materials like wood, crops and other waste. Biofuels are used to reduce the carbon emissions.
