Application Fees
Candidates applying for the CISF Fireman Constable Recruitment 2024 will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100/-. Note that candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the application fee. Educational Qualification
The educational qualification criteria for the CISF Fireman Recruitment 2024 is that the applicant must have Passed 12th Class or its equivalent qualification with a science subject from a recognized Board/University. Selection Process
The Selection process for CISF Fireman Constable Recruitment 2024 is divided into multiple stages to assess the physical, educational, and medical fitness of the candidates. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will not carry any marks but they will be qualifying in nature. The details of the various stages are given below:
1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :
Candidates have to clear a 5-kilometer running in 24 minutes.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST) :
Candidates who will qualify for the PET (Running) and Height measurement test will be shortlisted for chest, height, and weight tests. The details are:
- Height – 170 Cms
- Chest – 80-85 Cms (Minimum expansion 5 Cms)
3. Document Verification (DV) :
The candidates who have qualified for the physical efficiency test and physical standard test will be eligible for the next stage that is document verfication.
4. Written Examination
- The candidates shortlisted after PET, PST, and Document verification will appear in the Written Examination which will be OMR or Computer Based Test (CBT) in nature. The Written Examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions which carries 100 marks.
- All the questions will be Objective Multiple Choice type. The Written test will be in Bilingual mode (Hindi/English) under OMR or Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
- There will be no negative marking against the wrong attempted answer.
- The questions in the Written Examination will be of 12th-standard science subjects.
- For the qualification in the written exam, a minimum of 35% marks is required for the General category, Economically Weaker Sections, Ex-Serviceman, and 33% marks for SC/ST/OBC categories.
5. Medical Examination
The candidates qualified in PET/PST/DV and Written Examination will be selected for Medical Examination.
