Educational Qualification
The educational qualification criteria for the Punjab Sewadar and Chowkidar recruitment 2024 is that the applicant Has passed examination of Middle Standard With Punjabi Language as one of the subject from a recognized educational institution. However blind persons and those affected by riots or terrorism are exempted.
War heroes discharged due to disability, or their widow or dependent, appointed under government instructions, are exempt from the required knowledge of regional languages and English.
Salary
The salary for Sewadar and Chowkidar will be Rs. 18,000 (Minimum Admissible Pay).

Selection Process
The Candidates who apply for the Sewadar and Chowkidar positions will undergo an objective-type written exam. The exam will be conducted in two parts (Part A and Part B).
Written Examination:
Part A: Punjabi language paper of Middle standard, which is of qualifying nature. Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks to qualify.
Part B: Paper based on the educational qualification required for the post. The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in Part B only.
Counselling:
Candidates who pass the written exam will be called for counseling based on the number determined by the competent authority.
