The stage one exam date for the posts of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), Yantrik (Mechanical), Yantrik (Electrical), and Yantrik (Electronics) is tentatively scheduled for mid to end December 2023. Stage II exam is tentatively scheduled between Mid to End January 2024 and Stage II exam is tentatively scheduled between End April to Early May 2024.

The educational qualification to apply for the post of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), Yantrik (Mechanical), Yantrik (Electrical), and Yantrik (Electronics) is given below.

• Navik (Domestic Branch): Must have passed Class 10th from a COBSE-recognized education board.
• Navik (General Duty): Requires a 10+2 qualification with Mathematics and Physics from a COBSE-recognized education board.
• Yantrik: The candidate should hold a Class 10th certificate from a COBSE-recognized education board. He must possess a 3 or 4-year Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering, approved by AICTE.

Step 1: Open any web browser and visit the official website of Indian Coast Guard, by entering this URL “https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/” or clicking on it.

Step 2: Scroll Down and Click on “Join ICG as Enrolled Personnel (CGEPT).

Step 3: You will be redirected to the next page. Click on “Enrolled Personnel (CGEPT-01/2024)“.

Step 4: You will be redirected to the Sign-in page. Enter your Email ID and Password. Fill the captcha. Click on “Login” button.
